AppSense: New Pricing Announced!

Effective 11th July 2011, AppSense has issued a new set of pricing. Changing market conditions and the need to simplify pricing has led to several modifications to the existing pricing and licensing model. AppSense believes these changes represent the true value the technology brings to their customers, and is aligned with the  'user-centric' market message.

Here is a summary of the changes:

• The per-server pricing has now been removed from the price lists. This also removes unit pricing for support and maintenance previously associated with server-based pricing. All AppSense pricing is now user-based
• The platform-specific named-user pricing (Desktop and VDI) has been consolidated into one ‘Single Platform’ product code and price
• A  'Multi-Platform' named-user licence has been introduced  that can be used across any combination of desktop and application delivery mechanisms
• Pricing will now be re-issued on a quarterly basis, rather than annually

The new pricing comes into effect 11th July 2011 and will replace all existing pricing. There will be a 90 day grace period during which previous pricing will be honoured. The new pricing will be enforced however, from 11th October 2011 onwards. You’ll receive a reminder notification from us closer to this date.
