Citrix Service Provider Program

What is it?

The Citrix Service Provider program is tailored specifically for service providers who deliver software services and hosted applications to end-user customers on a rental, subscription or services basis. CSP partners in the program utilize Citrix industry-leading virtualization products to deliver their hosted offering with the best performance, highest security, and lowest cost. The program is designed with CSPs business goals in mind: simplicity, maximum flexibility, and no up-front license fee commitments. CSPs submit monthly usage reports and are invoiced accordingly.

The Citrix Service Provider program offers a monthly, usage-based pricing and support model designed to meet the specific requirements of hosting companies as well as the opportunity to leverage the Citrix brand.

Citrix Service Provider Program is complimentary to Windows Server and Terminal Services.  While Windows offers a wide swath in capabilities, CSPP provides depth of services and a variety of additional efficiencies. The (5) major topics of depth are Centralized Control, Application Compatibility, an optimized User Experience through a variety of profile settings and usage characteristics (USB, Universal Print, SmoothRoaming, etc) Comprehensive Access (which provides a larger base of application delivery) and scalability (for thousands of subscribers).

• Do you provide software services and hosted apps on a rental, subscription or services basis?
• Are you a hosting provider, an ASP, a SI or an ISV that provides software as a service?
• Is one of your primary objectives to avoid up-front license fees and minimum commitments?
• Is your goal to maximize the number of end-users served from the same underlying software?
• Will your customers accept not owning the software or having it located at their site?

What are the qualifications to join?

• Plan to utilize Citrix products in an off-site, multi-tenant or dedicated environment
• Current membership in the Microsoft SPLA program
• Approval from Citrix to participate in the CSP program
