Citrix Branch Repeater 5 - New Release

Citrix Branch Repeater 5 is now available within the Downloads section of MyCitrix. This latest software release is pertinent for all Citrix® Branch Repeater™ product family appliances – please note that the release code for CBR with Windows® Server is labeled ‘version 1.5’ while the code for Linux-based CBR and Repeater (formerly WANScaler) is ‘version 5.0’. This software release contains the following key features/benefits:
  • Multi-user Optimization for XenApp™: Delivers the best end-user experience by accelerating common XenApp activities such as printing, file transfers, application start-up and other time consuming tasks.

  • Citrix v6 Licensing: Simplifies licensing for customers by making it consistent with other Citrix products.

  • Network High Availability for Branch Repeater with Windows Server: Provides fault tolerance for branch based WAN optimization functionality.

  • Centralized Management support via Command Center: Provides a single administrative console to manage customer’s NetScaler® and Branch Repeater environments.
Updated Branch Repeater product documentation and new demos are now available on MyCitrix.
