In the past a lot of PCs have been convertedto TCs using a PCI card (the Igel PC-to-TC conversion card) with great success. As technology does not stand still, Igel has decided to exclusively focus on the Igel Universal Desktop Converter which offers the same functionality as the TC-card and many more. This will result in the End-Of-Sale on December 31st, 2009 (or as long stock lasts)of the current PC-to-TC card.
How does a Universal Desktop Converter project work?
- Decide which fat clients or thin clients to migrate to Igel Universal Desktops
- Select the desired Igel Universal Desktop Linux image: 420LX or 720LX
- Purchase the desired number of licenses
- Push the migration file to the target systems with the Igel Universal Management Suite
- Done
