DIGIPASS for Windows is a DIGIPASS software client to be installed on a Windows Operating System (desktop/laptop) from which it allows to generate a One Time Password, just like you would use a hardware DIGIPASS or a DIGIPASS on your mobile phone.

This DIGIPASS for Windows is designed for companies which have a need for strong authentication but where hardware based devices or mobile phones cannot be used as authentication device and where transparent deployment to end-users is required.

DIGIPASS for Windows adds new features:

• Full customization based on XML process.
• Unattended installation scheme.
• Manual or Automatic Activation.
• Time Synchronization.
• Programmable URL’s

As this version fully replaces the previous DIGIPASS Soft (MS Windows), this latest will officially go End of Life (EOL) as from 30/09/2010.  In accordance to our EOL-policy, the End of Sales date is set 6 months later, meaning that existing customers (with valid maintenance) can still order this product until 30/03/2011.  The End of Support date of the old edition will be 30/03/2012.

To help you replace all existing DIGIPASS Soft installations to the new DIGIPASS for Windows edition, you will find attached an overview of all the DIGIPASS Soft (MS Windows) licences per company that were sold through your company.  This list will help you guide your mailing/call efforts to the right audience.

The new part number for this DIGIPASS for Windows will be integrated into our next pricelist, valid as from 01/10/2010.  Pricing however is not impacted!

Attention: there is no technical migration possible between old and new version so the current installations should be replaced.  Therefore each order should be accompanied by the new Parameter Sheet, which can be found on our website as well as on our Partner Portal.
